It is only right that we consider if Pop-Up Gazebos are recyclable. We must be concerned about the environmental impact of the products we buy. More importantly, how we dispose of those products when they are no longer fit for purpose.
We all have a responsibility to buy and use the most environmentally friendly items we can.
At Gazebos Galore, we also consider the longevity of our products and believe the following:
the longer a product lasts, the better it is for the planet.
Therefore, we offer a high quality, robust product that it built to last. We know there are many cheaper, “throwaway” gazebos on the market but that’s not for us. Our Gazebos are built with strong, durable materials and are designed to last.
We also lengthen the life span of our shelters by providing spare parts. If damage occurs, they can be easily fixed by replacing the damaged part. This is not possible for those flimsy, budget Gazebos.
However, when the end of life does finally arrive, can our products be recycled?

Frames.
Standard frames – made from steel which is totally recyclable at a Materials Recovery Facility, not curbside.
Commercial and Industrial frames – made from Aluminium – fully recyclable at local waste/ recycling centres.
Frame footplates – stainless steel -100 per cent recyclable – Materials Recovery Facility, not curbside.
Carbon fibre reinforced joints -Carbon fibre products can be difficult to break down or recycle but it is possible.
Canopy & Walls.
PVC coated Polyester – can be recycled at specialist recycling plants.
Banners.
PVC – can be recycled up to 8 times.
Flags.
Knitted Polyester – made from recycled polyester (PET – Polyethylene terephthalate – is raw material).
Fibreglass poles – previously very difficult to recycle but can now be processed by specialist companies.
You will need to check with your local council and recycling centres to find out facilities in your area.
